Message Evangelism

Message magazine is a ministry that includes evangelistic meetings. The editor, Washington Johnson, and his projects coordinator, Samuel Thomas, Jr., have been quick to answer requests to hold meetings in places as diverse as Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, and Vicksburg, Mississippi. Your gifts make it possible for these ministers to travel and it also supplies literature for these outreach efforts.

Reporting from a meeting in Dallas, Samuel Thomas, Jr., said "This past Sabbath concluded our first eight days of the series. Between Friday night and Sabbath morning, ten persons were baptized. From Friday evening to Sabbath evening, an additional six persons made decisions for baptism. From the number of persons graduated from the Tuesday bible study group, and the swelling attendance, we know there are more decisions which will come this week. The harvest is ripe. If time permitted, a greater number of decisions would be gained. The collective work of this church based meeting is creating more mission mindedness. The longer the labor continues, the more involvement we are seeing and the greater the sense of accomplishment."
